Manny Rutinel Accepts October Debate Invitation in Colorado’s 8th Congressional District

COMMERCE CITY, CO – Today, Congressional candidate Manny Rutinel announced that he has accepted the invitation to participate in a candidate debate on Wednesday, October 7 in Berthoud, Colorado giving voters across the district a chance to hear from candidates before Election Day.

The candidate forum, hosted by The Surveyor, is expected to reach voters across CO-08.

“Voters in this district deserve to hear directly from the people asking for their vote, side by side and on the record. I’m glad to accept this invitation, and I hope Rep. Evans will do the same. The families of Colorado’s 8th district deserve a real debate about the issues that matter to them,” said Manny Rutinel.

Rutinel called on Rep. Gabe Evans to confirm his participation so the forum can move forward on October 7. The debate would give residents an opportunity to hear the candidates address the issues and priorities shaping the November election.

Constituents of Rep. Gabe Evans have been calling for Evans to hold a public, in person town hall for over a year to no avail; he is only hosting virtual town halls allowing him pick and choose who asks him questions on a live phone call.
