Reproductive Freedom for All Endorses Manny Rutinel for Congress

Commerce City, CO — Manny Rutinel, Democratic nominee for Colorado's 8th Congressional District, was today endorsed by Reproductive Freedom for All, the nation's oldest and largest reproductive rights organization, representing more than four million members nationwide.

The endorsement follows Rutinel's endorsement from Planned Parenthood Action Fund and underscores his unwavering record of fighting to protect women’s health care, including as a cosponsor of SB25 129, which shields Colorado abortion providers and patients from out-of-state investigation and prosecution under the Trump administration.

“When it comes to abortion, the government needs to respect Americans’ freedom to make our own decisions about our own families without interference from politicians or anyone else. Politicians have no place in a private medical decision,” said Rutinel.

Reproductive Freedom for All joins Planned Parenthood in backing Manny Rutinel as he continues to make access to health care a central focus of his campaign. The endorsement comes as Rutinel takes on Rep. Gabe Evans, who blatantly lied to Coloradans about cutting their Medicaid. Gabe Evans continues working to ban abortion, siding with anti-choice extremists and attempting to hide his record. Between Rutinel and Evans, the contrast could not be clearer who will stand up for Coloradans’ health care.
