ICYMI: Manny Rutinel Rallies with Local Carpenters Union, Kicks Off Canvass Launch Alongside CO Attorney General Weiser

THORNTON, CO – On Saturday, Manny Rutinel joined Carpenters and Millwrights Local 555 and Colorado Attorney General and Gubernatorial Candidate Phil Weiser for a Day of Action canvass launch.

Rutinel emphasized the competitiveness of the race, especially as President Trump and Gabe Evans aim to continue making life harder for workers in order to appease their billionaire donors. After the kickoff, union members spread throughout the district to knock doors and had conversations with 8th District voters about Manny’s plan to fight for fair wages, strong benefits, and lower costs for Colorado families.

In stressing how he will support carpenters and other union members in Colorado, Rutinel highlighted his past work in the state legislature, “when Donald Trump and Gabe Evans started destroying OSHA, we here in Colorado brought a bill called the Colorado Worker Safety Act, so that labor unions, when they are put at risk by their corporate employers, they're able to fight back.”
