THORNTON, CO – On Saturday, Manny Rutinel’s campaign held a Day of Action canvass launch, joined by U.S. Senators John Hickenlooper and Michael Bennet, U.S. Rep. Jason Crow, Colorado State Rep. Jenny Willford, Colorado WINS, SEIU Local 105, Social Security Works and over 200 volunteers.
Rutinel emphasized the competitiveness of the race, especially as President Donald Trump and Congressman Gabe Evans threaten to cut Coloradans’ health care and continue to raise gas prices through their reckless war in Iran. After the kickoff, volunteers spread throughout the district to knock doors and have conversations with 8th District voters about Rutinel’s plan to restore health care access, stop corruption, and fight for working families.
In stressing how important knocking on doors and talking to their fellow Coloradans, Rutinel added “[Donald Trump and Gabe Evans] got the billionaires, they got the trillionaires. We got the people.”
