ICYMI: Manny Rutinel Rallies Over 115 Supporters, Kicks Off Canvass Launch Alongside Rep. Joe Neguse

THORNTON, CO– Last weekend, Manny Rutinel’s campaign held a Day of Action canvass launch, joined by U.S. Rep. Joe Neguse and over 115 volunteers.

Rutinel and Neguse emphasized the competitiveness of the race, especially as President Donald Trump and Elon Musk continue to dump dark money into Congressman Gabe Evans’ campaign. After the kickoff, volunteers spread throughout the district to knock doors and had conversations with 8th District voters about Manny’s plan to lower costs, stop corruption, and fight for working families.

In stressing how Evans and Trump’s work to skyrocket everyday prices impacts himself and all Coloradans, Rutinel told volunteers, “I want you to remind [voters] that when Gabe Evans cut Medicaid, he was going after people like me who grew up on Medicaid. And when Donald Trump and Gabe Evans sent us into that forever war in Iran without any plans to put American lives at risk, he raised gas prices on the kid that, on his way to his McDonald's shift, had to turn off his car at red lights to save gas money.”
